Choosing the right papers
Which year level papers should my child use?
Choose the set at the year level your child is applying to enter. A student applying for Year 7 scholarship entry should use the Year 7 papers.
How do I know which test provider my child's school uses?
Search our free school directory to see whether a school uses ACER, EduTest or AAS, and which year levels it tests. The question style differs between providers, so this matters when choosing practice papers.
How many practice tests does my child need?
Most families work through a full package over six to ten weeks, sitting one paper per week under timed conditions and reviewing mistakes together afterwards. Each package contains several complete papers with answers.
How far before the exam should we start?
Students who do tutoring in preparation for select entry usually complete 2 terms of 9 weeks each beforehand. These tests will not replace those programmes, but they will give you a much better idea of where your child sits 9-10 weeks before the exam.
Can I try a sample before buying?
Yes. Free sample packages for Year 7 scholarship entry and Year 9 select entry are available on the home page so you can check the format and difficulty before purchasing.
Buying and accessing your papers
How are the papers delivered?
Papers are delivered digitally as downloadable PDFs immediately after payment. Your download links appear on the confirmation page straight away, and a copy is emailed to you so you can come back to them any time.
How long do I have access to my downloads?
Each purchase includes six months of access from the date of purchase, so your child has plenty of time to work through the whole package in the lead-up to the exam.
Do I need to create an account or verify my phone number?
No. You can buy as a guest with just your email address — there is no phone or SMS verification during checkout. An account is optional and simply makes it easier to find your downloads again later.
I can't find my download. What do I do?
After you sign in, your downloads are under My Packages in the menu. If you still can't find it, email admin1@topscoreeducation.com.au and we will send your links again.
I paid but can't find my download email. What should I do?
First check your spam or junk folder — the email comes from noreply@topscorepapers.com.au. If it still hasn't arrived after a few minutes, email us at admin1@topscoreeducation.com.au with the address you used at checkout and we will resend your links.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is processed securely by Stripe, which accepts all major credit and debit cards. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Using your papers
Do the papers include answers and explanations?
Yes, the packages contain answers. They do not usually include worked explanations, because how much a student gets from those often depends on the student's readiness.
Can I print the papers?
Yes, for personal use only. This material is copyright, so wider distribution breaches your purchase agreement.
Refunds and support
Can I get a refund?
Because the papers are digital downloads, all sales are final. Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as a technical problem that prevents you accessing your purchase, a duplicate purchase made in error, or where required under Australian Consumer Law. Email us and we will sort it out.
